Accent reduction classes quote
Dear Mr Olive, I'm writing to enquire about the prices on your accent reduction classes. I've seen some of your tutorials on Youtube and I think you might be the person who can help me with my accent issue. I'm not satisfied with my English - it sounds far too Spanish. I really need to change the way I talk as I'm being turned down from interesting job offers - I was told I didn't sound "British British" in one of them or "posh enough". I don't aspire to sound like Joanna Lumley (one can only hope!) but I would be extremely happy if I could get rid of my foreigner twang, develop a good intonation and somehow be easier to understand so I'm not hard work to listen to. Dear Mr Edward Olive,
I am writing in order to request a quote. I need to polish my English accent. I am tired of my Spanish accent while speaking in English. I have never been taught the English phonetics but I have learnt some on my own. However, It is not enough. Another problem I found is that while reading I could sound more native than speaking. It seems that I took the habit of speaking in one way and I found difficult to change this way. I prefer the British accent but it is more difficult to master. The R sound in American is easier than British, so many phrases if I read in American R, I sound with more English accent than if I try to read in British. However, I have a mix of both approaches and with the problem of the Spanish accent for many other words.
I don't know what courses do you have, or how long does each course take . How many hours do you think I need to take classes for having a significant improvement? How much that it cost each hour?
